2. About VibeCode Africa

VibeCode Africa is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on building an ecosystem and pipeline for Africa’s next generation of AI leaders. Our activities include hackathons, workshops, community events, mentorship, and educational content.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our website or participate in our programs. Some events or programs may have additional eligibility requirements, which will be clearly stated at registration.

4. Event Registration & Participation

When you register for an event, workshop, or program:

• You agree to follow our Code of Conduct and behave respectfully toward all participants, speakers, volunteers, and staff.
• We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these terms or disrupts the community.

5. Code of Conduct

VibeCode Africa is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. This applies to all events, online spaces, and communications related to VibeCode Africa.

Violations may result in removal from an event, revocation of access, or other appropriate action.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos — is owned by VibeCode Africa or used with permission and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

Projects and submissions you create at our events remain yours, but you grant VibeCode Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your project for marketing, educational, and reporting purposes.

7. Donations & Payments

Donations to VibeCode Africa are voluntary and processed through secure third-party payment providers. All donations to our 501(c)(3) organization may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult a tax professional for advice specific to your situation.

Our website and events may use third-party platforms for registration, communication, payments, or streaming. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. VibeCode Africa is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
